The Skin Culture story began in the 1920's with a New York pharmacist and chemist who while operating his drug
store, developed a series of skin care products with the aid of a physician.
Among the products developed was the skin peeling treatment and the formulation developed back in the 1930's, which is
the same formulation that is used today.
The treatment was initially developed as a salon based treatment for use in the Skin Culture offices. However,
1971 saw the advent of the home based peeling treatment when the company was sold to another chemist and pharmacist,
Burton Wanetik.
1990 saw the introduction of the peeling treatments to the UK and European market through Skin Culture UK.
In 1994, the skin peels were approved for sale in Canada, the only treatment of its type ever to receive such formal
approval.
The introduction of the Skin Culture web site in 1997 placed the peeling treatments onto the global market. Since
then customers from as far as Japan and Australia have used the Skin Culture peeling treatments.
Today, Skin Culture is very much a global company offering home based skin peeling programs, aftercare beauty treatments, and additional skin rejuvenating products directly to consumers. We continue to be 100% committed to providing high quality products and services to our clients at all times.
